for the Awards Picnic

ü   Please remember after your game ends to proceed immediately to the Awards tent. This includes players, coaches, and parents.

ü   Clean Up After Yourselves

ü   Anyone available to help with our Fall clean-up on Sunday October 31th @ 9:00 in the morning would be greatly appreciated.

 

Barnabas Playoff Rules: 

1)      All players must play a half game as everyone has paid the same fee. Every player must be substituted at least once per half. 

2)      If there is a tie at the end of regulation time there will be a 5-minute sudden death period.  

3)      If tied at the end of the over time period we will go to a shoot out. The goalie for the shoot out will be the same as who finished the over time period. No Goalie Changes. Each team will choose 5 shooters, which must be a combination of 3 and 2 for gender ratio. If tied after 5 shooters we will go to 1 versus 1 in a shoot out and you must alternate boy – girl and every player must shoot before a player can shoot a second time.

 

Awards Ceremonies & Picnic: 

1)      After your game is finished please have your team and parents/guests proceed immediately to the awards tent. We will not start giving any awards out until all coaches are present. Please try to keep your team in one area, as it will help keep things moving. Also, ask that your team stays present for the other teams that will receive awards after them. 

2)      Please let your parents know that the awards and pizza party is held outdoors and to dress them and their children for the weather.  

3)      As we will be serving upward of 1000 people it is very important that we keep the field area clean after every game. Also, we will need as much help as possible so please reach out to your parents to volunteer.
